This hat has been made and finished in the cleanest environment possible. It is clean and ready to put on your newborn right after birth. If you would still prefer to wash it you can hand wash it with mild soap, reshape and hang to dry. Or you can machine wash in a mesh laundry bag for delicates on a delicate cycle. Wash with like colors and use warm water and gentle soap. Reshape and hang to dry.
Hand washing is always best for handmade. Wash with mild soap using warm water. Avoid scrubbing. Place on a towel and gently roll up, squeezing excess water from the hat. Reshape and lay on a flat towel to dry. Turn in a few hours to dry other side.
